Taormina is a magical and mythical place set between two magnificent bays and offering visitors breathtaking views over Etna often covered in snow.  Who said heaven is not for real when the Mediterranean sea and blue skies reach as far as the eyes can see around here. There is so much to do and see, despite being small Taormina’s streets can lead to mysterious places, top level art performances at the Greek theatre, several painting exhibitions held in local palazzos and churches, fine elegant shopping along the famous Corso Umberto street with its classical music cafes and traditional pastries’ shops. One should definitely visit Metropole’s heavenly terrace for a drink with a good company and stop for a fantastic meal at Granducas but when it comes to stunning views Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo is just my idea of paradise on Earth. Don’t forget to try the local pastries and specialities and when it comes to fashion one should definitely check out Moschinos’s store one of the best in town.  Life cannot be better just smile!
