New Designers under the spotlight part 2
Beyond Couture by no meaning presented a bad collection but in my opinion the color combination, the patterns and the overall design were not very innovative and not so summery neither. Beyond Couture presented a number of magnificent dresses yet there was this one step missing in order to make them outstanding. These are my personal views of course but the collection seemed a bit repetitive and less innovative. Although there was a lot of attention to detail, there wasn’t such variation between different designs and models presented. Yet I think the dresses carry a style of their own and they are not be underestimated.
MC Fashion is another designer who presented a very diverse palette of both designs and combination of bright colors. Although I personally love colors and have my favorite from this collection too, some of the dresses were slightly off board for me personally. I do think that the designer has a great potential though and the designs are really cool yet something to me was missing to make them the must have this season. As a new fashion brand MC Fashion has what to offer but there is maybe a little bit of room for improvement. The positive from his collection is definitely the funky colorful and flowing dresses and I would definitely go for this one. Keep it up Malcolm.
Fretka presented similarly flowing summer designs with different colors and some imagination into them. Yet if I must share my personal views on them the materials used when designing them slightly disappointed. I am certain that Fretka has the ability and her collection is by no means disappointing but I’m sure she could be bringing more secret hidden weapons with her designs in the future. The light blue color she presented was flowing and magical as was the dark blue but somehow I wish I had also seen a combination of different materials. In fact she definitely managed to simulate the sunset right there on the catwalk. This young girl has very much in store for us in the near future.
