Ritienne Zammit’s collection kicked off at one of the best venues that also blended ideally with her collection. The designs she showcased had such a deep historical and thematic meaning. They related to culture, language and history and all of them turned into fashionable items. Ritienne is undeniably an example to follow as she has great ideas and she knows how to implement them. This was definitely the most original of the designers this year. She was not afraid to speak through her clothes. Having a passion for history myself and having studied Maltese history this collection definitely spoke to me as well! I believe Ritienne managed to impress us all. She was consistent with each and every piece she presented and the audience was astonished. The prints and the theme incorporated was definitely a great idea and also looked great on the catwalk. I would feel really proud walking in those models even abroad and regardless of the fact I’m not Maltese myself. The statement and signature of Ritienne are really impressive and I also loved the materials used into creating those designs. The Fashion show was more than a show, it was a loud statement and one that really grabbed the attention not simply of the crowd that came to see it but also throughout the whole island.  I can only state well-done Ritienne you are simply amazing!
