Feragui definitely had the Italian notion incorporated into the designs. The playfully presented dresses carried something from the Italian fashion industry and definitely reminded me of some previous collections of Cavalli and their prints. Considering they will be presented in Milan the designer have maybe taken the right approach. My personal favorite was the last dress that somehow combined the babydoll style but in black and gold classic way. The models definitely felt empowered and the whole catwalk experience seemed like fun wearing the designs of Feragui. Yet from my perspective the show lacked some innovation and originality in terms of designs. The outfits presented were quite plain and I saw nothing that could impress as a fashion novelty in them. Overall a good collection but the colors were neither very summary nor very trendy. The dark colors were not my favorite part of the show and the outfits themselves were quite conservative. We all love it when a designers takes a more challenging step, don’t we? I just did not see this in Feragui’s collection and as a already established designer I really expected  to see this.

‘Paint it black’ or shall I call it ‘paint it wow’ by Nilara simply astonished the fashion audiences and the aclaims could not stop even hours after the show had ended. We all know that Nilara’s dresses are simply astonishing but this season’s collection presented the most sexy and yet classic and stylish black dresses I have seen recently. Models followed one after another presenting more and more amazing styles and combinations of black stylish and impressive outfits. One can never remain unnoticed in them and oh girls you would be the star of any venue should you show up in these designs, not to mention the eyes of all men would be on you. If I have to criticse some particular aspect of the show is the fact that the choice of music was not syncronised with the models catwalk presentation of each outfit…well at least I thought this should be the idea. But if I ever saw a designer being so close to Alexander McQueen’s designs that would be this year’s collection of Nilara. I’m not saying that her clothes were just a vision of him because she inputed so much of her own style of gowns into them that I just think the combination was even better than McQueen’s. If anything fashion is there to make a girl sexy, empowered, desired, confident and stylish. With Nilara you could find all these things and I’m sure even more. The small Nilara gifts were also a very nice part of the show. Those small broches are ike a piece of Chanel’s jams. All I can say is go girl, Nilay has the potential to really make it internationally and empower women with amazing and astonishing designs.
